Today I followed a link from this gorgeous little 100% silk Daisy Bra. It is totally unsuitable for a woman built like I am, but so very pretty. Each bra is made to order, styled after a lovely flower. Just so beautiful….

This shirt was inspired by Holly Golightly of Breakfast At Tiffany's fame. It has fluttery bell-shaped sleeves and is gathered at the bottom. Here's a bit about the advantages of using a fabric like organic bamboo jersey, which is, if you've ever had the opportunity to touch it, incredibly soft and silky.

Bamboo jersey is 60% more water absorbent than cotton, and has a cooling effect. It is naturally anti-bacterial and will not hold odour. Like other natural fibers, it allows the body to breathe as the fabric absorbs the sweat away from the body.

Look for Less: Nicole Richie at STK House

Nicole Richie looked great at the OmniPeace charity event at STK House restaurant last week. She was all about casual elegance in her all black outfit, but spiced it up with patent red heels!

Here's how you can get her look for less.

It all starts with the basics. Start with dark denim skinny jeans like the BDG Red Raw Cigarette Jean from Urban Outfitters (middle, $54.00). Add a basic black tank like the H81 Basic Long Length Cami from Forever 21 (left bottom, $5.90).

Joel Madden Twitters About Being a Dad

Joel Madden went on quite the soul searching twitter stream last night, writing about being a father and what that means to him. It looks like he's one of several celebrities who are putting things into perspective after the death of Michael Jackson.

The conversation started when Joel couldn't sleep:

Why is it that i can't sleep. And i constantly have to go in and check on harlow when i can't sleep, but if i wake her up MOM will be Pissed

It gets really cute after this. Joel calls Harlow his little buddy.

Serioulsy sometimes i just wanna wake her up and hangout. She's my little best friend. But just like her mom she likes to sleep more than me.

Joel then qualifies these statements by not claiming to be the best dad in the world - but he promises us he's trying!

I'm not the best dad, but i def put more effort into being dad then i ever have at anything else. Nothing is more important than my kids.

Finally, he gives Nicole props for being a great mom.

And for the record. I'm an alright dad. Its Nicole that is the super MOM. She does all the hard stuff, and makes me look good. 100% Goodnite.

I think his is adorable and it shows how strong and loving Nicole and Joel's little family is. I think Joel is a great dad and I'm looking forward to watching their family grow.

I've been doing more research for Your Green Wedding. There's a lot of really useful information out there. Links to dress ideas, tutorials, planning tips. Today, I've got some blog links for you to peruse.

I found a website today 2000 Dollar Wedding. It's written by a woman who shares how she and her fiance (now husband) were able to enjoy their wedding “in a budget-minded, hand-crafted, eco-friendly way.” The couple lists their complete cost breakdown - their wedding cost less than $2000 - and offers advice on how to plan your own celebration. Lots of links to tutorials, lots of photos - really a delightful blog.

Etsy Wedding shares “offbeat finds for the eclectic bride.” Finding exactly what you are looking for at Etsy can be tricky. New items are added constantly and sifting through what is offered can be time-consuming. Etsy Wedding takes all the work out of it for you. Find links to vintage dresses, jewelry and more.

If you've got the time and the inclination to do the work yourself, you might want to take a look at DIY Bride where they offer “crafty wedding goodness from scratch.” Included are do-it-yourself projects for invitations, flowers, bath and body care, favors, and decorations. Plus tips on planning and registeries, recession-proofing your wedding.
