Devil's Kitchen Fall Literary Festival 2009

Hi, Everyone,

I'll be reading with David Kirby at the 2009 Devil's Kitchen Literary Festival at Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Friday, October 30, at 5 pm in the Student Center Auditorium. Other writers at the festival (which starts Thursday night, runs all day Friday, and winds up Saturday afternoon) include Jane Alison, Fred Leebron, William Notter, and Eugene Gloria. Hope to see some of you there.

Reading At The Journal Benefit Party At Rumba Cafe

Please come out and suport The Journal, Ohio's premier literary magazine at the Rumba Cafe in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, October 10th, 8:00 p.m. Readings by Maggie Smith and myself, live music, booze, I reckon, that sort of thing. This benefit is to raise money to help keep The Journal alive and well. The address of the Rumba Cafe is 2507 Summit Street. The Journal was the first magazine to accept of of my stories, so you know those people have nerve!
