Some Jets fans won't have to pay extra to watch the team in its new stadium. The Jets say no personal seat licenses will be charged for the upper bowl, which holds 27,000. That's a departure from the Giants' PSL, which imposes a $1,000 fee for those seats.

Spearheaded by their two marquee additions, OLB Calvin Pace and NT Kris Jenkins, the Jets have become a shutdown defense. Preseason accomplishments will be forgotten in two weeks, but at least it's a confidence-builder.

It wasn't supposed to start out this way - the Jets should be carrying Brett Favre until he gets acclimated - but things have gone in reverse. In three preseason games, the starting offense has produced only 7 points in 9 possessions.
