Tyler Clementi was an 18-year-old freshman at Rutgers University when he jumped off the George Washington Bridge in New York in 2010, after prosecutors say his roommate secretly recorded a video of Clementi kissing another man and posted it online. His suicide ignited a media firestorm and thrust him into the national conversation in a way that his older brother still finds difficult to grasp.
